Our complete type XV sword features our specific Type XV blade. We designed this sword to simulate the 14th century arming swords categorized by Oakeshott’s “XV” typology. The complete XV is also a great trainer and tournament sword for those practicing from the I33 manual. The sword comes complete with the 31.5″ type XV blade bearing M8x1.25 thread and a spatulated tip. The guard is a simple 6″ cruciform guard made from the the same 5160 steel that the blade is made from, hardened to 50 Rockwell C. Tough! The XV also features our exclusive contoured Line-X brand coated T6061 billet aluminum grip and our type “H” wheel pommel with threaded hex pin. In an effort to keep this sword as historically accurate as possible, we do not offer any customization.
