I33 XV Training Set

With our type XV arming sword, designed to simulate the 14th century single handed broad swords categorized by Oakeshott’s “XV” typology, you will have the perfect weighted, balanced and sized sword to practice from the oldest know published treatise; the I33 manual. The sword comes complete with the 31.5″ type XV blade bearing M8x1.25 thread and a spatulated tip. The guard is a simple 6″ cruciform guard made from the the same 5160 steel that the blade is made from, hardened to 50 Rockwell C. The XV also features our exclusive contoured Line-X brand coated T6061 billet aluminum grip and our type “H” wheel pommel with threaded hex pin. This set is complete with our steel 12″ round buckler.   Looking for a way to keep your sword looking new?
