We have a unique system for delivering that surgical tubing band to your opponent’s mask. It’s our new line of RBGs (Rubber Band Guns)! These have a special “single action” mechanism that is easy to load and will not fire until you are ready. We build the body of the pistols from both high quality straight-grain red oak or American walnut. We offer two different trigger styles, a conventional trigger with a trigger guard as seen on 16th and 17th century wheellock pistols and an early palm style trigger more appropriate for early matchlock style firearms. Each RBG is sold with one band but we offer instructions on how to build your own bands on the RBG main page. Need a way to hang your pistol? Add our simple steel belt hook, made common in the 1600s.

Build Your Own RBG
These pistols are based aesthetically on a Flemish design from the early 17th century and are paired with our modern RBG mechanism to make a delightfully accurate, safe, and beautiful RBG. Our patented double action safety trigger is designed in such a way to allow the gun to be loaded while in a position where it is very unlikely to be misfired. The rubber band is loaded into the front of the barrel and pulled into the safety loop while the hammer is in the forward position. When in this position the trigger is inoperable and the band is incapable of exiting the gun; this is the "safety" position. Once the rubber band is locked into the safety loop, the gun can be cocked by pulling the hammer back. This action moves the band into the firing hook and moves the trigger forward into the firing position. Only then can the trigger be pulled and the gun fired. The mechanism is removable and can be bought separately for those looking to make their own pistol body, all it needs is a slot that that the mechanism can drop in to that is 3” by 5/16” wide. It comes complete with pins to secure it to the body. We also have PDFs of the mechanism dimensions available to aid those constructing their own pistol body. We offer this pistol in walnut or oak, but custom wood is available on request. Its overall length is about 18.5” and it weighs in at about 2lbs. Maintenance is simple, just drop a little oil through the top to keep the mechanism moving freely. We also offer a belt hook so you can carry your RBG hands free.

Disclaimer: This is a dangerous fencing accessory that should only be loaded, used, and fired when all involved parties are wearing appropriate protective gear. These pistols shoot hard and should never be aimed or fired at an unarmored person or any animal. THIS IS NOT A TOY.
