We offer several different arming and long sword guards, all made by hand here in the U.S.A. We cut all of our guard parts from either hardened 4130 carbon steel (weldable) or hardened 5160 chrome vanadium high carbon steel. This means our arming and long sword guards are as tough as the blades that they bear. All of our guards are based very heavily on extant pieces in terms of details, dimensions and weight.
All of our arming and long sword guards are made specifically to fit our heavier, non-ricasso type blades like our Broad Sword Blade, Type XV Blade, Type XVa Blade, Feder and Messer.
