Rapier & Side Sword Guards

We offer several different rapier and side sword guards, all made by hand here in the U.S.A. While most combat sword manufactures use mostly round stock to build up their guards, we have taken a different approach. We cut all of our guard parts from 4130 carbon steel plate so that they have a greater protective coverage and historical aesthetic. All of our guards are based very heavily on extant pieces. Depending on the guard, we offer customization options including quillion types and finish.

All of our Rapier and Side Sword Guards are made specifically to fit our Basic, Standard and Elite Rapier blades and Basic and Standard Side Sword blades.

    If this guard is to be used on any non-Castille blade we recommend getting the standard quillon block. Our basic block is specifically sized to our blades.
