    A note on thread size: M6 is smaller threading than M8. Typically things like rapiers, daggers, and dueling sabres will use M6 thread. Heavy daggers, long swords, feders, and basket hilts will typically have M8.

Description

Our long sword scent stopper profile pommel is similar to the specifications of the type “T5” scent stopper profile pommels commonly found on long swords of the 17th century. These also come with a centering retaining ring that seats over the back of the grip to give the connection greater stability. We offer it with M6x1.0 or M8x1.25 thread. Its total weight is 8.6 oz. We offer 3 finishes as well: “Bright”, a bright antiqued satin metal finish. “Blued”, a heat blued finish. Naturally darker, more durable and rust prohibitive than chemical bluing. Finally, “Polished”, a bright shiny deep polish that provides the best rust resistance and detail preservation.
