Our Economy Dueling Sabre is based on examples from the early 20th Century. We’ve developed a process for grinding our tried and true 16mm and 20mm dueling sabre blade blanks a bit faster to keep the cost down but still deliver the same reliable and nimble blades you’ve come to expect. The only difference you’ll see is the “brushed” finish and shallower “hollow”. These blades are offered in a Normal Tip only. The guard is made from .070 4130 alloy steel and is modeled after the simple Victorian Olympic dueling sabres of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The 3D printed grip is modeled from the grip shapes of this time period as well. We’ve been able to shave off even more cost by using only our M6 recessed pin to hold the whole thing together securely. This pin requires a 4mm allen wrench.
