AMMA Arming Sword

We were asked to design a sport arming sword that would not only be the toughest sword ever built for sport combat, we also had to adhere to a battery of exacting details. Weight, balance, materials, blade profile and dimensions even material and process certifications all had to be put to the test. When the smoke cleared this arming sword emerged. Quality tested with unparalleled abuse by some of the toughest folks around, this sword stands victorious.

We offer two models with two specifications; the Men’s and the Women’s AMMA Arming Sword. These are Certified legal for official combat by the AMMA board and come the AMMA stamp of approval. We are proud offer these products and more in the future. For our Buhurt patrons, this is an excellent arming sword that is guaranteed to go the distance!

These Swords feature a hardened 5160 Spring Steel blade that is literally one wide piece from tip to pommel and the edge is rounded and polished to minimize burs and chips. It has 100 grade alloy scales that are polished and rounded and riveted completely though the blade layer. We also designed these to have a re-wrappable cord grip covering! there is a small set screw located at the back of the grip section with a pass through hole for the cord. Simply loosen that set screw to release the cord. Cord can be replace as often as needed easily and efficiently! These normally come with Brown 500 series parachute cord for a classic look, but other colors can be requested!
